128 channels Optoisolated IO Cards - ADLINK
Posted in Industrial, ControllerOn Saturday, April 28, 2007
The ADLINK PCI-744X is a DIO PCI card with up to 128 optoisolated input channels. This I/O board is targeted for a wide range of demanding applications such as industrial I/O control and automation, measurement, relay control and large-scale test. The PCI-744X series consists of the PCI-7442, a 64-CH isolated DI and 64-CH isolated DO card; the PCI-7443, a 128-CH isolated DI card; and the PCI-7444, a 128-CH isolated DO card.
Equipped with 128 identical non-polarity channels of opto-isolated digital inputs, the PCI-7443 is capable of collecting digital inputs with a high tolerance for noise. The PCI-7443 features a channel programmable Change-of-State (COS) interrupt function which monitors the status of input channels and instantly generates an interrupt request to the PCI controller when a change in the logical state of that channel is detected. This COS function reduces CPU loading by decreasing then number of input channels polled during each cycle, thus improving the I/O performance of the system.

The PCI-7444 module provides 128 channels of open drain Power MOSFET driven digital outputs. At 100% duty cycle, the PCI-7444 has a sink current of 250 mA for all channels, handling up to 300 mA max, ideal for large-scale relay control and automation applications. The PCI-7444 also features programmable power-on DO state settings and a watchdog timer (WDT) for increased fault protection.
Each card in this series is equipped with a board ID design that enables fast and convenient card detection and troubleshooting, even in systems with multiple DIO cards installed. The PCI-744X series supports Microsoft(R) Windows(R) and Linux operating systems and also comes with software drivers for widely-used applications including Visual Basic(R), Visual C, BCB, Delphi, LabVIEW(R) and MATLAB(R).
Price of the PCI-7442, PCI-7443, and PCI-7444 are starting at $495.
