6-Axis Robots form Adept Technology

Adept announced the release Cobra 4-axis SCARA and Viper 6-axis articulated robot families that meet UL1740 and Z434 Safety Standards. Cobra 4-axis SCARA and Viper 6-axis robots are targeted applications in pharmaceutical, food, medical, cosmetics and lab industries, requiring the added safety and regulatory compliance.

Adept robots already meet the global ANSI/RIA 15.06-1999 (American National Standard for Industrial Robots and Robot Systems/Robotic Industries Association's) Safety standards and CE ("Conformity European") marking directives.

The UL Listed Adept Cobra 4-axis SCARA and Adept Viper 6-axis articulated robots utilize Adept's industry leading SmartController CX controls and software platform providing superior path following, faster cycle times, better repeatability, integrated vision and embedded networking.
