The iQ965-IGM makes the most of the FMA (Fast Memory Access) feature built into the Q965 chipset; FMA helps to improve system performance, automatically optimizing available memory bandwidths, thus reducing the latency of memory access. The iQ965-IGM applies Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3000 (GMA 3000) technology that supports DirectX 9.0c, Pixel Shader 2.0, 256 MB of video memory, and dual independent display through ADD2 and MEC cards. .
Key features of iQ965-IGM motherboard includes:
- Intel Q965 Chipset
- Supports Intel Pentium D / Pentium 4 / Celeron / Core 2 Duo CPU
- Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3000
- Four DIMMs up to 8 GB Dual Channel DDR2 800 / 667 / 533 SDRAM
- AD1988 8-channel High Definition Audio
- 1 PCI-E x16, 1 PCI-E x4, 2 PCI
- Intel 82566DM PCI-E Gigabit LAN
