Kontron release the KPC1710RT, its new 17" Panel PC with resistive touch screen. With its widescreen (16:10) format, low power design, fanless operation and attractive exterior, it is ideal for applications requiring reliable and minimum maintenance such as in retail environments, theaters, theme parks and restaurants.

The KPC-1710RT features five VGA, and AC'97 audio, four USB 2.0 ports, COM ports; providing rich multimedia and I/O capabilities. There are two integrated 10/100 BASE-T Fast Ethernet ports as well as a Mini PCI slot and antenna mount for wireless LAN capability.

The KPC-1710RT is equipped with a 17" high brightness (500cd/m2) WXGA TFT LCD and ULV Intel Celeron M 600MHz processor with up to 2GB of DDR memory. Distinct from other Panel PCs currently on the market, KPC-1710 RT's stylish industrial design and customizable molding and front bezel solutions will provide a tailor-made digital-signage experience for the end user.
